Guarana 4:1 Extract

It can be found deep in the Amazon: the soap tree plant guarana. Numerous legends entwine around the "eye of the forest". For example, the first guarana plant is said to have emerged from the buried eyes of a dead Indian boy.

Since then, it has been deeply rooted in the culture of the indigenous population and has been used there for generations to cope with phases of greatest exertion.

But guarana can do much more. It provides the perfect base for a dye due to its beautiful color. In the extract offered here, the soluble components have been extracted from the seed. The resulting dye can now be mixed with a carrier such as petroleum jelly or blended with liquefied wax to make a candle.

To produce 1 kg of dye, 4 kg of ground guarana seeds were extracted.
