Orange Orient

Our herbal colorant "Orange Orient" is the powdered orange root of the genus Curcuma longa. It belongs to the ginger family, which also includes the ginger root.

Turmeric, which in our latitudes is mainly used in the spice curry, is often used in India to dye textiles.
